3 on 3 Detoxification and Treatment

Tolerance to drugs and alcohol develop as a result of homeostasis. This condition is a natural process where the body attempts to work effectively regardless of unnatural influences on the body like, extreme temperatures, viruses, bacteria, alcohol and drugs.

The main concepts behind our newly designed 3 on 3 Detoxification and Treatment Programs are; reduction of withdrawal symptoms and advancement of recuperation.
The first part of the 3 on 3 Detox Program includes; Nutrition, Hydration and Rest. We begin with a program of hydration and nutrient replenishment. When adequate rest is maintained the body resets itself psychologically each night and lessens stress levels the following day.

The second part of the 3 on 3 Detox Program stresses the safety of medications. When induction and stabilization take place the client stabilizes and begins to regain a state of homeostasis. When the taper is started the client begins to regain mental clarity. The goal is to bring the client back to reality in a safe and effective manner without instigating the fight or flight mechanisms. Finally discontinuation of all medications allows clients to return to a lucid state where health living, employment and relationships can flourish.

Our Treatment Program is a structured relapse prevention plan. Relapse prevention is a combination of drug information classes, health and nutrition education, individual counseling and process groups. In the end, relapse prevention is a learned technique of pausing when agitated, anxious or frustrated. In short, relapse prevention is a life-long exercise in trigger recognition and impulse control.
